Stopped in for appetizers and drinks. Small place with a very casual vibe. Staff were friendly. Only had chips, salsa and guacamole. Salsa had a good flavor, chips were just ok and guacamole was good but much different than what I am used to. The avocados were not mashed but instead cut up pieces and with lots of onion, tomatoes, and seasonings. Good though!

Went for lunch ordered the fish and chips quite possibly the worst I've ever had. That's really all I can say about this restaurant.

This location seems to suffer from a revolving door of restaurants but perhaps Baja Mar will survive where others didn't. But to do so, I think they need to solve their tartar sauce situation. We ate some fish and chips - the fish was crispy and delicate but the prepackaged tartar sauce was dreadful. Come on Baja - do better and make your own! Your fish is nice but that tartar sauce is a crime! The portion was generous and the house margarita was tasty enough that we ordered a second round. Will we be back? Maybe but we'll probably stop by Safeway to pick up some tartar sauce on the way!

This place is SO GOOD! The fish was super fresh, seasoned perfectly. The margaritas are my new fav in town. The service was 4 out of 5, but nothing to complain about. The outdoor patio was really nice too. I'll definitely be back!
